10th Claret Summer Youth Camp in Ormoc Mission
Ormoc, Philippines. Three years after Leyte was pummeled by super typhoon Yolanda, this regular and annual gathering of the young remains strong and undaunted. The camp was participated by almost 200 young people from all seven barangays (villages) under the pastoral care of the Claretians in the area. This activity has been an excellent venue to identify and form youth leaders for the mission, young partners for their missionary works. “KEEP THE HEARTS BURNING” was the theme chosen by the young people for the 10th Claret Summer Youth Camp held last April 20-23, 2016, held at the Claretian Mission center in Ormoc, Leyte. The 3-day camp was held in the spirit of prayer and youthful activities. End of the XIV Provincial Chapter of the Philippine Province
Quezon City. The 14th Provincial Chapter of the Philippine pProvince concluded today at 11:30 in the morning of the 27th of February 2016. In the morning the chapter members deliberated on the capitular document and moved for its approval. The members also expressed how they can be ambassadors of the document to the different communities they belong. The chapter concluded with a Eucharistic celebration presided by the new Provincial council. The members now depart with jubilation in the dawn of this new triennium.

Quezon City. On the 4th day of the 14th provincial chapter of the Philippine province the small groups who discussed the capitular document presented their comments and questions. All the sections of the document from the identity and vision, mission, spirituality, community, governance, formation to economy were presented. At the end of the discussion on the area of Formation, the chapter president asked the vocation ministry to present before the chapter hall its proposal to discern on the young professionals. It was followed by the discussion and deliberation on the areas on Governance and Economy based on the Capitular document. The plenary ended on the discussion on Juridical matters and Canonical issues concerning the Province. In gratitude to the Lord, the plenary of the day was culminated through a Holy Mass presided by the Capitulars from Mayumi, Curia, ICLA and Melbourne communities

A New Beginning
Quezon City. On morning of the third day of the 14th Provincial chapter of the Philippine province the members elected the Provincial Superior and four other consultors in view of prefectures. The members of the council are: Fr. Eduardo Apungan CMF – Provincial Superior, Fr. Dennis Tamayo CMF – Prefect of Economy, Fr. Anthony Carreon – Prefect of Formation, Fr. Efren Limpo CMF – Prefect of Spirituality and Fr. Angelito Angla CMF – Prefect of Apostolate. After the election of the Provincial Superior, the members of the chapter proceeded to the chapel for a thanksgiving pray and for the profession of the father superior. In the afternoon the chapter members tackled the pre capitular document and was organized in small groups to discuss the different articles in the document.
