Claretian Publications East Africa is based in Kimara a suburb of Dar es Salaam. Its main activity is the publication of the ‘Bible Diary’, an initiative born in Latin America that has spread to other parts of the Congregation. Claretian Publications currently publishes over 60,000 copies of the ‘Bible Diary’ in Swahili (for Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya.) In addition to these, it publishes several thousand more in English and Shona (the language of Zimbabwe.) It also publishes catechisms in Swahili used by many parishes in the area. It has also created the Claretian Centre of Communications which is at the moment an outlet, not only for publications but for other liturgical or religious materials. Maluso, Basilan. Nurse Adnan Ballaho from the Health Center of Maluso, Basilan conducted a Health Education on Environmental Sanitation Seminar to the Bajau mothers last Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Bajau Wellness Center Multipurpose Hall. The activity aimed to help the  Bajau brethren to gain information and knowledge on environmental protection and proper waste management. They were taught on the advantages and disadvantages on proper waste disposal, the use of sanitary toilets, hand washing, house cleaning and personal hygiene.

Claret Mission Team's BEC Re-Orientation and Strategic Planning
Ormoc City. Claret Mission Team, formerly known as Claret Itinerant Mission Team had its BEC Re-Orientation and Strategic Planning for 2014 to 2017 last August 27, at Hinanungan Beach Resort. The CMT composed of the Claretians of Ormoc Community and four lay collaborators listened first to the talks of Fr. Renato Manubag, CMF and Fr. Larry Miranda, CMF as a sort of orientation for the planning of the program of CMT for the next three years. Afterwards, the team had their recreation in the resort where they had the planning.

ZABIDA Inaugurates Water Tank System in Faraway Sitio Pina
SOME 35 families farming in the mountains of Barangay Bunguiao now enjoy an adequate supply of potable water for house and agricultural uses coming from a 45,000-liter ferro-cement tank they built themselves over a 2-year period. The cost of materials was mainly provided by the Zamboanga-Basilan Integrated Development Alliance, Inc. (ZABIDA), through its partner NGO Reach Out to Others Foundation (ROOF), and the funds for the project came from a grant by the Spanish NGO Manos Unidas (MU). ZABIDA president Fr. Angel Calvo, CMF said during the inauguration of the water system last Saturday, August 23 that the moment is a celebration of the success of the farming families in helping themselves and the project provides them an opportunity for more community development later. Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (IHMP) Maluso Fiesta 2014
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (IHMP) of Townsite Maluso Basilan successfully celebrated its fiesta last August 22, 2014. It started with a nine day novena Mass sponsored by different organizations from the town and culminated with a procession of the statue of Blessed Virgin Mary around the town. The theme of this year's celebration was "Corazon de Maria Refegio de Amor, Esperanza y Paz" (Heart of Mary refuge of Love, Hope and Peace). There were different activities like community decoration contest for every zone, street dance, Maluso got talent, Basketball tournament, beauty contest, and parlor games. There was a tie up with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Maluso the IHMP church leaders headed by the parish priest Rev. Efren Decreto, CMF.
